Milan Vice-President Adriano Galliani has reiterated the stance he took after yesterday’s game and says that the club will not be appealing to UEFA over the incident involving Dida.
The Brazilian keeper was struck by a Celtic fan who had run onto the pitch to celebrate his team’s last minute winner. Although contact seemed minimal Dida collapsed to the ground and had to be stretchered off the pitch.
“We don’t expect anything from Uefa,†Galliani told journalists this afternoon outside Malpensa Airport.
